The idea of the expansion came up after the heroes of Azeroth dealt with so much external threats like the Burning Legion. In their own words, "so when we talk about what's the biggest threat in this world, is it the titan or is it the dwarf paladin that put a hammer in that titan's head"? As such, the enemy (at least during the early parts of the scenario) will be the opposite faction, a "vast army of world-destroying forces".[4]

Almost all quests in a zone will award reputation for that zone's faction. Be sure to go back and do all of the side quests in a zone in order to maximize your reputation gains. More reputation means more and faster access to gear and other world content. Each day, you should prioritize doing all of the World Quests that you are able to do, especially the ones in on the opposite faction's island for 7th Legion or Honorbound reputation in order to unlock the ninth Mythic dungeon and all parts of the War Campaign. Maintaining your mission table and champions will also prove to be a fruitful method of reputation acquisition as your champions and troops work passively to acquire reputation rewards while you actively earn reputation through World Quests, island expeditions, and other means!

Incorporating an accelerated leveling pace is *definitely* something we want to incorporate in to the new addon My hope is to allow an option for you to set yourself to one or two higher speeds, where the guide will skip some steps along the way. The steps will have a special tag that lets the addon know to skip them if the person has that setting enabled.
If you are just coming out of Level 110, you will probably have a number of different Legendary items to choose from. Your Legendaries' special effects will stop working at Level 116, but until then they can be a very powerful addition to help you level up quickly. These are our Legendary recommendations for leveling as a Fire Mage in Battle for Azeroth:
Mag'har orc - "For untold generations, the orc clans of Draenor battled one another in endless war. But when Gul'dan offered them the blood of his demonic masters, the disparate tribes of Mag'har—the orcish word for "uncorrupted"—refused the dark bargain and banded together to drive out the Burning Legion. United under the leadership of Grommash Hellscream, the Mag'har pledged to one day repay Azeroth's heroes for aiding their cause. As war against the Alliance intensifies, the Horde must call upon the might of the Mag'har to seize victory."
For reference, my previous best time abusing Method-0 in 7.3.5 was 32.4 hours(as show in the old thread). A difference of just over 8 hours; which isn't all that bad, all things considered. And I believe I made several errors along the way, which could be cleaned up in future runs. I believe that that gap could be significantly closed by using a monk's bonus, but I hate playing monk...so...yeah. YMMV
You can earn a decent amount of XP by doing Herbalism or mining. Any zone works but I prefer Sholazar Basin as a lot of the mobs are not aggressive and the mobs are spread out so you will find a lot of herbs and ore that you don’t have to fight for. It is possible to make about a level every hour by doing this, or a level every 30-40 minutes with rest XP.
Earning reputation in Kul Tiras and Zandalar can be done by almost any activity. You will passively unlock friendly reputation with each of your faction areas as you complete quests. At maximum level, World Quests will provide many opportunities to gain reputation in small amounts for each World Quest or one large amount per daily emissary. Warfronts will provide an opportunity to progress the 7th Legion and The Honorbound by means of Warfront contribution quests. Mission table rewards can grant tokens that boost your reputation level by a small amount. Despite this bonus being granted in small amounts, it can very quickly add up to a massive bonus to your most important factions, such as Champions of Azeroth. Even pet battles can grant reputation!
Spoiler: A lot has changed. It can feel daunting to jump into a huge world of which you know very little, and World of Warcraft is gigantic. You will feel overwhelmed if you just rush in. As a returning player who used to write for the freakin’ World of Warcraft magazine (RIP), even I find it hard to figure out exactly where to get started adventuring if I haven’t played the game for a while.
The first ever WoW Dugi guide, which was released for free on a number on official World of Warcraft forums, was a huge success, putting the talented creator under the spotlight and generating a huge following. Today, there are many more original Dugi guides available on the official website, all insanely popular among gamers looking for optimal WoW power leveling tips and strategies.
Even though the guide was developed with a hunter, the guide can be followed by any class.  Except you have to do your class's quests which aren't a whole lot.  I do have full intention to make my guide friendly with all classes in the future by listing all of their steps as well.  There will be a toggle that allows you to show which class's steps you want to see in the guide.  But this is coming later.

Hey guys. So as the title suggests im new to wow. Im currently leveling my first character, a fury warrior, and was just wondering are there any guides out there for leveling your first character ? Ive seen a bunch of leveling guides but most of them are made for people who already have a max level character and can be confusing. So I was just wondering is there a guide out there that can show me how to level my first character ? Thanks beforehand I appreciate it!
Anyway, however you choose to get to the addon's menu, choose guide list and then pick the zone you want to quest in. There are some zones that will autoselect based on quests in your log, but not all guides or all quests are set up that way. (If you don't want to switch to a guide that auto-pops up choose "not now" or "never") As you can see in the screenshot, there are various categories of guides. Most max level content (such as Argus) is found in Achievements rather than leveling.
And if anything, this addon is more legit than an addon such as auctioneer. You can effectively set auctioneer up to auto purchase or at least auto prompt you to buy out items within a price range you specify - that's far more automation (rescanning the AH once per second, automatically informing you of deals with a buyout option button ready to be clicked, etc) than Zygor's does.
/way commands like /way Shadowmoon Valley:Draenor 50.0 31.2 Ashlei don't work correctly. According to the way TomTom works, this waypoint should be created in Draenor's Shadowmoon Valley. Instead, it will be created in Outland's Shadowmoon Valley. So it seems there is currently no way to distinguish between zones that occur more than once with the same name, such as Shadowmoon Valley or Nagrand.
