Thing is, as in real life, opportunity cost is the real key on this. The very nature of citing a spreadsheet with a proc rate infers you are incorrect. It is random, and that's how it was designed to be. The chance of getting an extra is 20%. Which means that over a long period or large data sample it should even out to be 1 in 5 procs the bonus transmute. Essentially, as an extreme example, you could go 4 months without a single proc and then get a proc every day for a month, which would then average out to be 20%. If it were not random you could guarantee every 5th transmute would proc.

Some mount items are bound to the original player - so you must develop the related profession in order to learn them - while others can be sold and traded. Some mounts require you to be skilled in the related profession in order to use them (especially Tailoring and Leatherworking, plus a couple of Engineering mounts), while others can be used by any character on your account. Inscription in BfA is going to see a new type of item - Rep Contracts! Battle for Azeroth Inscription users will be able to create rep contracts with the specific reps of BfA, and using one gets you bonus rep with that BfA faction any time you complete a Battle for Azeroth world quest. Overall, BfA professions look to be heading in a fun direction and I can't wait to get started crafting in professions once Battle for Azeroth comes to World of Warcraft.

The hexweave bags are still a safe bet unless the new 32 crafting cost is like 10% of them. The one thing I'm more concerned about is the professions squish. This will make the old world items that we've been selling (TBC Dust still sells by 200 stacks easily) only required for Transmog and not leveling. This was a better option for a lot of professions (especially enchanting). Expecting their near-death with the next expansion. :(


Still, it’s terrible to see the new expansion fail so spectacularly at iterating on Legion’s success. It’s hard to believe the two expansions came from the same company. Legion made you feel powerful and unique. Battle for Azeroth grinds at you by taking away as much as it gives. Sure, you can have a shiny toy. Sometimes. If you don’t get too carried away.

It’s a good thing that the previous expansion, Legion, was the best in the game’s history because Battle for Azeroth is coasting on its success. The major class redesigns that happened then remain in effect (though some are a little worse, and some a little better), and the combination of World Quests and Mythic+ dungeons means there’s always something to do, no matter your skill level or how long you can play.

WOTLK and Cata were my goblin training grounds as well (I remember fondly making 30k on a single day after a patch day with Inscription), but since Im only at Legion levels, Im struggling to find oportunities where to start invest and make profit. I'm holding a huge stock of herbs, flasks, pots, gems, fish, feasts/foods to sell when Uldir releases. Its already too close to start investing into that so I would just farm herbs and try to sell Anchor Weed as fast as possible right now when price is still high. Blizz can buff spawn rate anytime or reduce materials needed like they did with feasts.
A variety of people use professions in this game for different purposes. Some just use them for their own needs and some use them because their game is making gold on the auction house. About the Blacksmithing, Leatherworking and Engineering professions; I feel like crafted gears are fairly different in BFA and not nearly as strong as it was in Legion. That’s why these three professions are at the bottom. Only reasonable things that come out of these professions are mounts. Engineers have Mecha-Mogul Mk2 which is a pretty good-looking mount but every engineer will try to make and sell mount, so I feel like the market is gonna have a lot of competition for that.
Also, all of this mobs in this area are humanoid. This means additional cloth drops for gold. So, you want to do this farm with a character which has Tailoring. Because if you have Tailoring, more clothes will drop thanks to Cloth Scavenging. This is real good because materials are going for good prices in this days. Another advantage of having Tailoring is Resilient Spellthread. It prevents you from being dazed in Kul Tiras and Zandalar.
