I’m between jobs atm so I only had enough money to get a month (haven’t played since legion launched) so I’ve been stressing about trying to somehow build my gold up to buy game time instead of enjoying it. I’ve had a lot of fun just trying to catch up on my Demon Hunter (maxed his level and am about to start the Mage Tower stuff and work towards reputation for allied races) and when it gets tedious, I’ll switch over to my engineer and craft stuff or level my new character I’m going to use for herbalism and alchemy. Hopefully when life is a bit steadier and my WoW standings improve, I can use all of this advice to make some $!
Battle for Azeroth, despite the endless grind, has been an exciting expansion this far. However, raids and additional content are what makes the game great. Blizzard has made the entry level into the new expansion welcoming for new players and some die-hard critics have shared their concerns with the current direction Blizzard are going with making the gaming “easier.”
Sky golem is all profit if you do the smart thing and run old panda farms on multiple toons. Was running 10 farms at one point till bfa launched and was upto my eyeballs in trillium and Ghost iron. Just not been doing it lately, but those 10 farms was an hour a day if that and sustained 4 crafters and alchemists though could have sustained 8 easily.
There are also numerous gold-making guides available for World of Warcraft players. Currently mmobux recommends Killer Guides' World of Warcraft Gold Guide, which covers a broad range from daily quests and professions to making gold while leveling and auction house trading. 'Standard' farming spots are covered as well, making it an interesting resource for bots as well. Yielding up to 500 gold per hour, the strategies are suitable for players of all skill levels. If Killer Guides keeps the guide up to date, it probably will become a valuable resource for professional farmers as well. -PvP- Completely broken for some classes and I mean broken going from both sides of the spectrum, from classes destroying everyone, to classes that can't even kill another player. It's fairly common for a weak class to lose to a powerful class even if the weak class outgears them by 50+ ilvls. That's how broken PvP is and Blizzard doesn't seem to know what to do to fix it other than do blanket damage nerfs/buffs as those are the only changes we've seen.
Like I said, engineering is the best when you aren't worried about making gold. The Loot-a-rang is super useful, nitro-boosts are nice when they don't fail, and the glider cape enchant is nice too... you get wormholes to Pandaria, Draenor (make sure you have a glider), Legion, and Argus (as well as a couple old world teleport locations)...Jeeves (and to a lesser extent Reeves) and MOLL-E are also super useful (bank and mail access anywhere, repairs, etc.).
Jewelcrafting, buy/get ores, prospect them, craft blue gems and put in the ah. With all the greens and some Monolite from the scraper or your druid* farmer alt (imagination exercise here if you don't have one yet), you can craft green rings, sell them or just disenchant them, for enchanting mats that can be used for sells enchants or just raw mats.
The point is the sale price never be the same, and never will, as entropy increases further, the sale price will always drop, since its something that people get and they forget, there inst any reason to buy more than one. So your margins will always be lower than yesterday, if you want to keep your income (more effort same reward), furthermore add scrapbot to the formula and your margins will be lower.
The older brother of this potion originally came about in Cataclysm as the Potion of Treasure Finding, and is actually one of the best ways to make money. Since most Pandaria mats are constantly farmed, they usually sell for less than the Cataclysm mats. This makes using this form of the potion more effective for making gold. Not to mention that creatures die faster to level 90s since they were made for the previous expansion, making farming the treasure chests that drop rather easy.

They're segmenting professions by expansion. So that 100 skill level for legion is just for legion. There'd be another 100 skill in draenor blacksmithing or whatever. It's a better way to do it. As /u/UristMcUselessNoble said above: From what I've understood, instead of one one 1-800 profession, each Expac will have it's own profession level, which mean Classic will be 1-300, Cata will be 1-75, Legion 1-100 etc.
Meanwhile, on the island continents introduced in the Battle for Azeroth expansion, players level 110 and above who have unlocked world quests can participate in Faction Assaults. These special events, alternating between Alliance and Horde territory, will give each faction a chance to band together to defend their territory or invade their enemy’s via a series of world quests. The prize? Survival! Also faction, gear and gold. Maybe even some pride.

Sorry about the salt but jeez, stop listening to guides. Just check your AH, see what old mats are low in offer, and go get em. >FOR EXAMPLE<, ghost iron ore is a gold mine right now, cause nobody can sustain the demand, and prices are way up. Plus side being, old farms are optimized like hell. You can fly in the old world, mobs won't bother you, no one is there to take your nodes, and there are plenty of items to make the most out of it. Which means it's way easier and requires less effort than farming in BfA.
Plus, I am a pet collector, and there are plenty of pets to collect in the new dungeon. Completing the dungeon’s challenge mode grants players a Mini Spider Tank battle pet. Continue playing on a weekly basis to earn currency towards items like the Unopened Gnomeregan Supply Box, Mechanical Cockroach, Schematic: Mechantula, Leper Rat Tail, and Rechargeable Alarm-O-Dog Battery.
Yes, that is easy, but it's not quick. Further down in my comments to OP I detailed the GIO farm, and reasonable yield expectations. I looked up a few guides/videos before commenting and most of them estimate a yield beween 800-1,000 GIO/hour. That lines up with my past experience with it as well. That'd be, taking the high yield end, 4.2 hours to farm the GIO for one toon's monthly needs.
For future reference, it is a great option to purchase mounts and pets as a long-term investment. Not only do their prices scale well even when a new expansion drops, but there is always a demand for them. The only drawback to this strategy is you would need a hefty amount of initial wow gold investment and also maybe have to go through the motions of spending for a guild bank.
All I know is that Scribes are going to make bank with those Contracts. All guides talks about them and everyone will want them. Better ride that money wave while we can. Other than that, Alchemy and Jewelcrafting are always safe bets with tradable and marketable goods. Engineers can get an item for followers to bring back more Azerite, ot sure how much of a headstart that's gonna give them. The rest of the professions honestly looks kinda lame since most of everything is BoP anyway.
I've bought speaker plugs from Amazon before, but when they arrived I quickly filed a return; they were cheap looking and had wear and tear on them like they've been previously used. The audioquest sure grip 300 was in a league of it's own. They're a bit pricey but once you take them out of the box you can tell they are quality. The gold plated connectors actually had the look and feel of real gold. The build quality is excellent and I found them easy to install.
The key to making a lot of money with inscription comes from combining the sale of Contracts with the sale of Glyphs. It’s not uncommon to see some Glyphs swell to 4000% of their normal value during times of increased scarcity. This means less stable income but much more lucrative prospects. Even though this guide assumes you are pairing Herbalism with Inscription to farm your own mats, under certain conditions it may be a better idea to purchase the materials from the auction house.
Is it profitable when you compare the time spent farming the ore to what you could have farmed elsewhere? No, it's not even half as valuable, at least not on my realm. That of course changes if you're on a server whose AH can supply a chain of golem production at a reasonable price, but that just isn't the case for me. I wish it was, could be a nice little side gig.

I would also like to point out, just because it gave me a giggle, that in one sentence you highlight that everyone is trying to make gold in BfA and then in another direct people back to the Engineering/JC mounts as a proposed solution. While I appreciate the suggestion, you seem smart enough to realize that those, too, are saturated markets. They have been for years now, so that's just moving from one camped market to another.
The world quests aren’t necessarily bad, but they aren’t good either. I wouldn’t mind killing five of a type of monster or fighting one particular boss a few times, but after seven or eight, it starts to wear pretty thin. But going from levels in the mid-20s can take nearly 30,000 AP, so you’ll need more than world quests if you want to get your heart up in a reasonable time.
Also, all of this mobs in this area are humanoid. This means additional cloth drops for gold. So, you want to do this farm with a character which has Tailoring. Because if you have Tailoring, more clothes will drop thanks to Cloth Scavenging. This is real good because materials are going for good prices in this days. Another advantage of having Tailoring is Resilient Spellthread. It prevents you from being dazed in Kul Tiras and Zandalar.
When an allied race has been unlocked for a player, new characters from that race will start at level 20. If a player levels an Allied race from 20 to level 110 without using character boosts, they will be rewarded with a unique "Heritage Armor" for transmogrification that reflects the unique lore behind the race but is limited for use to that race. Doing the quests to unlock the allied races will also unlock the races' unique mounts for use by the characters of their faction. The void elves, Lightforged draenei, Highmountain tauren, and Nightborne, as races tied to the storyline for Legion, were made available with the preorder on January 30, 2018. The Dark Iron dwarves and the Mag'har orcs are made available upon completing the "War Campaign" in Kul Tiras and Zandalar and reaching Exalted with one faction's War Campaign reputation; the Kul Tiran humans and Zandalari will be made available later in the expansion. Game director Ion Hazzikostas also indicated that additional Allied Races may be available in the future.
I'm aware that the LS chain can be xmuted up all the way up from GIO. This is great since it means ultimately you only need to track/acquire one item. The procs can certainly increase your profit margin, but as I said in my top-level comment the profitability of the whole endeavor is server-dependent. These numbers will of course vary from server to server, and for some it might be worth it.
