Next, Enormous amount of mats? 4200 Ghost Iron Ore. That's it. Look at Depleted Kyparium Rocket or Turbo-charged Flying machine or the mechanohog, all have more complex recipes with mats requiring you to go to a vendor to get. Let's be honest I bought a bunch of Hula dolls because who wants to go to Shattrath anyway but c'mon. What you're saying is just not true. Its simple, its quick, and the procs aren't random (I transmuted 100 Trillium bars last night and got 122 bars). Most people don't need the procs, but optimizing allows you to make more gold, and ultimately this is a goldmaking subreddit. If you don't want to follow the advice, don't join that market.

Despite all of these problems and this laundry list of glaring systematic issues, the crowning achievement of Battle for Azeroth’s endgame is that it still remains enjoyable all due to those two pillars of raiding and dungeons. That won’t last forever. As the expansion goes on, and the grind necessary to progress becomes even more demanding and the time spent in content that simply isn’t fun increases, it will be harder and harder for raiding and Mythic+ to carry the expansion along.

I have probably said this exact same thing a dozen times but it's worth saying a dozen more. Old world engineering is awesome right now. I make enough for my monthly token and then some simply buy selling auto hammers, gunshoes, and 1 sky golem. 100% of mats purchased from auction house. It's the easiest, laziest way I have ever made gold and i love it.
The Alliance are able to unlock the void elves (exiled blood elves who can tap into shadow magic, trained by Alleria Windrunner after her experiences on Argus), Lightforged draenei (draenei members of the Army of the Light who fought the Legion on Argus), Dark Iron dwarves (fire-blooded cousins of the in-game dwarves of Ironforge), and Kul Tiran humans (larger, more heavyset versions of the in-game humans of Stormwind).[6]

Otherwise, its a pretty lackluster expansion profession-wise as there are no useful sellable gear besides Inscription trinkets. Legion had good and variety stat gear across all professions (JC could make BiS socket-rings, now JC is the worst proff ever, so sad). I hope they change stuff soon but I'm not optimistic about it. You should probably level Pandaria Engineering and Alchemy as much as you can on your characters and invest in Ghost Iron Bar/Trillium Bar transmutes to either sell Living Steel or hold them to craft Sky Golem (30-40k profit each char per month). It's hard to maintain a steady flow of GIB/TB though. I "only" have 6 engineers and my stock drys up pretty quickly.
The point is the sale price never be the same, and never will, as entropy increases further, the sale price will always drop, since its something that people get and they forget, there inst any reason to buy more than one. So your margins will always be lower than yesterday, if you want to keep your income (more effort same reward), furthermore add scrapbot to the formula and your margins will be lower.
The very nature of citing a spreadsheet with a proc rate infers you are incorrect. It is random, and that's how it was designed to be. The chance of getting an extra is 20%. Which means that over a long period or large data sample it should even out to be 1 in 5 procs the bonus transmute. Essentially, as an extreme example, you could go 4 months without a single proc and then get a proc every day for a month, which would then average out to be 20%. If it were not random you could guarantee every 5th transmute would proc.

The expansion is set immediately after the events of Legion.[4] Two continents have been added within the Great Sea between the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor: Kul Tiras, one of the major human kingdoms, and Zandalar, the homeland of Azeroth's trolls.[4] While the Alliance and Horde will initially travel to one continent respectively, both continents will be available to both factions at level 120.[4]

My second most anticipated new feature in the Tides of Vengeance update is the Battle for Darkshore Warfront. It’s the second cyclical battle between the Horde and Alliance, in which each faction takes turns gathering resources, fighting in a pitched raid battle and then controlling the Darkshore zone. In what I hope will be an improvement to the Warfronts feature, the controlling faction will gain access to diverse world quests in the zones they control, rather than the “kill x of y” quests from when it first launched.
Meanwhile, on the island continents introduced in the Battle for Azeroth expansion, players level 110 and above who have unlocked world quests can participate in Faction Assaults. These special events, alternating between Alliance and Horde territory, will give each faction a chance to band together to defend their territory or invade their enemy’s via a series of world quests. The prize? Survival! Also faction, gear and gold. Maybe even some pride.
This leaves players chasing an endless loop of trying to get higher level Azerite gear — which can only reliably be gained through raids and isn’t available in Mythic+ — but only the pieces with exactly the right traits will actually be an upgrade. It’s even possible that some items that should be huge upgrades are nullified by the loss of a specific trait that makes one ability do more damage than the others.
I know if you aren't using hunters than you'll really want the loot-a-rang for easy looting, so that would take up one of your professions. In all honesty If i was going to do it id level up a hunter team and only hyperfarm with them, while doing other things with the mains. As far as regular professions go, they don't really seem worth it anymore like they did back in the old days, so I'd personally stick with gathering stuff as you are hitting nodes x5
-Global Cooldown- Almost all spells are now on the global cooldown. This has slowed gameplay down quite a bit and you won't get to use the full potential of your spells cooldowns. For example, you cast a spell that increases your damage for 15 seconds, after the global cooldown and you're able to cast again, you now only have 13.5 seconds to make use of the remaining time. There are far too many spells on the global cooldown that shouldn't be.

I guess I'd put the blame on the amount of posts I read every day and the attitude towards new goblins, which is "You should do this". What they need is a proper education in gold making, they need to understand the process, and not learn about new sources, cause then every time a source dries up, a farm is nerfed, they come back here to ask the same question. "This died. What now?" or "I'm at 500k, what now?" And that's why I'm annoyed. But then again, to each his own, I'm not the one in need of help...
Tbh high prices of enchants / gems / flasks / augment runes / food buffs are mostly an opportunity for casuals to make gold. Majority of them don't use these for themselves. How often do you do casual content and see casual players use flasks, gem and enchant their gear? I rarely do. It's common to pug a normal raid or similar content and see people ungemmed / unenchanted and using no consumables unless someone drops down a feast. It's simply not necessary and not required in casual content and people don't bother. Not even mentioning more casual levels like lfr and open world content.

-Island Expeditions- Island expeditions was one of the new features I was looking forward to but Blizzard no longer makes games that are ready when they are ready but rather makes games ready when the deadline comes. I've bought speaker plugs from Amazon before, but when they arrived I quickly filed a return; they were cheap looking and had wear and tear on them like they've been previously used. The audioquest sure grip 300 was in a league of it's own. They're a bit pricey but once you take them out of the box you can tell they are quality. The gold plated connectors actually had the look and feel of real gold. The build quality is excellent and I found them easy to install.
Blizzard need to kill professions off as a core game element, because professions stand between players and the portal of an instance. They have been doing it since Warlords. So when you log in to the game, as soon as you cast a spell, you will experience some kind of lag. The movement doesn’t register with the database and thus the lag is experienced. You can observe this when you get DCed from the server and return back to the original position, unless you have traveled enough distance to be registered in the database.
But then you have some professions, Inscription, Jewelcrafting, the gathering professions, etc. which don't seem to have any specific extra bonuses for being them. Inscription has been in a bad place for a while and that trend seems to be continuing in BfA, although considering we are not locked to certain glyphs anymore (like having to choose between only one glyph of many for things like Travel Form) I suppose there's a chance we will see some more profitability out of it.
