Leveling used to be a treat in WoW. New, unique abilities drove you forward and made getting past the horrible grind worth it to some extent. Now it just feels like everything is set to grind. More than it used to be. Once it was tolerable, rewarding even, but now you grind to unlock an allied race through reputations barely connected to most of these races, only to have to level up that character to get their unique armor set (compelling you to not just boost your character and instead suffer through the slog of ANOTHER group of alts), then you get back to current content and grind some more with a random chance to drop the item you need to get your ilvl up to finally enjoy the single warfront available (as I write this).
Battle for Azeroth, despite the endless grind, has been an exciting expansion this far. However, raids and additional content are what makes the game great. Blizzard has made the entry level into the new expansion welcoming for new players and some die-hard critics have shared their concerns with the current direction Blizzard are going with making the gaming “easier.”

This gold making advice is applicable to most players, except if you are an enchanter, in which case there is a very strong case to turn them into dust and essence for your profession needs. As an advanced tip, you can explore the use of mobile apps that let you post on the auction house at the right time because the price of greens tends to fluctuate rapidly, and could mean a large loss of potential gold income.
Conclusion - Overall, I am looking forward to BfA but I do have my concerns. The mid and high level rare mats look like they are going to come from Mythic Dungeons and Raids. This could make it so that crafting alts basically need to be end game geared up characters and doing that content in order to produce anything usable. Gathering will work and I think it makes sense to prioritize that at the beginning of the xpac. The rest I am taking a wait and see approach this time around. There still is plenty of time between now and launch for the devs to make drastic changes to the material requirements and item level of any crafted item or consumable. Therefore, I don’t think we can call anything a real “winner” or “loser” yet. What do you think?

Patience and extra gold are rather important for the mounts so it might not be best for you right now. As for the operation (Wrath and Pandaria mounts right now), you need a miner (ore is cheaper than bars), transmutation master alchemists (living steel and some time eternals for daily cooldown, titanium and riddle of steel), and potentially multiple engineers (for more Sky Golems, plus at least one gnomish and one goblin if you want to do both rockets). The best way to source Pandaria mats cheaply is to buy up Spirit of Harmony when it's cheap and check often for mats cheaper than the conversion rate (1 Spirit buys 20 ghost iron ore, 5 trillium ore, 20 Kyparite, and more). Same with Eternals (for crafting titansteel)...you have to regularly check and grab them up whenever they're cheap (frozen orbs can be exchanged for eternals in old Dalaran too so watch for some cheap orbs as well). I also sell Golden Lotus on the side since it goes for more than the Spirit cost. (Edit: Also should point out that at the end of the expansion everyone is bored with nothing better to do so the profits on the mounts have dipped to as low as 5k.)

We have introduced wow gathering professions last month. Today mmogah will talk about what to do with the materials you have gathered: Crafting. Crafting include eight professions: Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Leatherworking, Tailoring, Jewelcrafting & Inscription, and a crafter has lots of options to choose the best professions.

"If you’ve chosen to start a brand new character right at the end of an expansion, getting a character fully leveled up and geared up to complete endgame content before the expansion ends, there’s always going to be some time pressure there. That’s just part of the nature of choosing to do that at that stage in time."

We’ll give different advice here, because the gems market is highly volatile. It can make more money than almost any other profession if you watch the market carefully and look for huge spikes in cost. Gems tend to flood the market during beginning to middle of a patch cycle, and spike in value around the end-middle when the content drought makes the market more scarce. It is advised in particular to watch the Tidal Amethyst gemstone, which is very economical to craft and has been known to spike at upwards of 8000%. With gems, it is less about rate per hour and more about how long you can hold before selling. Good luck!

The rest of the professions honestly looks kinda lame since most of everything is BoP anyway.
JC Panthers: Instead of breaking them all down like I did with the golem, I'll just note that currently on my server the Orb of Mystery and the Living Steel combined cost 36,000g. All of the panthers, except the Onyx, sell for 32,000g. A loss of 4,000g/unit, not including the gems. Once we factor those in, at a mean value of ~200g/unit, the loss per Panther jumps to 8,000g.
Enchanting, Jewelcrafing and Alchemy are also good quality choices no matter what the expansion is because potions, elixirs, flasks they are always needed which made by Alchemists. Then we have enchanting pretty much the exact same thing with alchemy. There is no expansion where people would not need enchants. Then we have jewelcrafting once again same thing, stat gems which always go for a fair price in Auction House.  Also this profession synergizes with mining and making good profit by only purchase and prospecting ores.

You will get the recipes for these high level armors through a new discovery system. First you have to craft the base ilvl 355 armor (normal raid ilvl) which requires BfA Leatherworking 115. After you craft this armor, you will discover a new recipe, which is ilvl 370 (heroic raid ilvl), and after you craft one from the ilvl 370 armor, you will discover a new recipe for an ilvl 385 armor (mythic raid ilvl).
Yes, that is easy, but it's not quick. Further down in my comments to OP I detailed the GIO farm, and reasonable yield expectations. I looked up a few guides/videos before commenting and most of them estimate a yield beween 800-1,000 GIO/hour. That lines up with my past experience with it as well. That'd be, taking the high yield end, 4.2 hours to farm the GIO for one toon's monthly needs.

If you're willing to dedicate, get tailoring for increased cloth drops, and look at group finder. Under custom search for "boe" and try to find and join a 2x4 farm group. It's basically just hours of leading npcs into a grinder for loot, but you'll make 20-40k an hour from cloth depending on server prices, and on average every 2-4 hrs you'll find a boe epic worth 80-250k, if luck permits.
Honestly TL:DR of any guide. Is learn your markets, it's as simple as that. Learn who's in it, learn what's profitable, watch different time tables. I've earned 2 million profit OFF 1 market and half set up TSM. I've barely tried before this I was a hardcore raider, only made gold over the years through BOE farming and run sales (which are goood, don't get me wrong) but I want to be making the multiple gold capped characters.
Blacksmith, Tailoring, Leatherworking all can create their own BoP gear like before with Blacksmithing able to potentially create indestructible versions and can repair in the field instantly (not that big), while Tailoring gets specific cloak enchants with some unique effects like not being able to to be dazed which is going to be very useful for Tailoring/Herbalists.
Blizzard need to kill professions off as a core game element, because professions stand between players and the portal of an instance. They have been doing it since Warlords. Professions also provide one extra level of player choice and freedom that needs to be tightly contained; they don't want people having to buy enchants and gems beyond what is necessary to keep some pretense at existence.
I would also like to point out, just because it gave me a giggle, that in one sentence you highlight that everyone is trying to make gold in BfA and then in another direct people back to the Engineering/JC mounts as a proposed solution. While I appreciate the suggestion, you seem smart enough to realize that those, too, are saturated markets. They have been for years now, so that's just moving from one camped market to another.
Making gold = work, people just want to be lazy and cash in but today a lot of people use TSM, have access to this reddit, youtube guides, etc. More and more people play wow to make gold so ofc the AH work gets harder, you just need to find your niche, i'm making gold with Tailoring from MoP and Cata for transmogs, not a lot of work to farm maths and i sell each piece around 10k, 7 pieces per week and i'm fine for a month.
There's a few profession crafted pets in BfA on the horizon - Battle for Azeroth Tailoring is getting a Hot Air Balloon style pet, and BfA Alchemy looks to be getting a brand new Transmute Meat to Pet. There are some mount buff consumables from both BfA Leatherworking in the form of a mount barding, and Blacksmithing in Battle for Azeroth will be able to craft Stirrups and Hoofplates to increase mount speed and allow you to interact with things while mounted. 

What am I supposed to do now? Is there a way to get the curse client working again? I've googled it but haven't found any useful results. Do I have to uninstall & re-install it from scratch? Has the Curse client been taken permanently offline, meaning that it's no longer viable software? Do I have to install a Twitch client and manage my WoW addons from there? If so, do I have to re-install all my addons from scratch, or will they somehow carry over from Curse to Twitch?
That's mostly it, but it's linked to the fact you can transmute ghost iron bars into trillium bars, which can be transmuted into Living Steel. So ghost iron is really really useful for sky golems and panther mounts, because they require 4 Living Steel's, which means 24 trilliums or 240 Ghost Iron bars, if you wanna go that way instead of farming the trillium itself!

The Heart of Azeroth is an artifact given to the player character from the world soul via Magni Bronzebeard. It is a necklace that can use the power of Azerite, the lifeblood of the embryonic titan Azeroth (See Plot, below). Azerite is similar in function to Legion's artifact power, in that it is gathered normally from playing the game and is used to upgrade an artifact; likewise, the Heart is similar in function to Legion's artifact weapons by having the capacity to be constantly upgraded. A variety of people use professions in this game for different purposes. Some just use them for their own needs and some use them because their game is making gold on the auction house. This is part of the problem since blizzard never seems to be able to please both groups lately because they don't spend enough money on that aspect of the game to offer enough of a variety of patterns/recipes.

-Bugs- There aren't too many glaring bugs anymore, but you will certainly encounter some. The pathetic thing is that many of the bugs you'll encounter were reported repeatedly during Alpha/Beta and still weren't fixed. Some bugs were discovered after release and players were able to abuse game mechanics without repercussion unless they were one of the more serious offenders. This gave some players a significant advantage over others because they used exploits and at the start of an expansion, that is the time when it's most impactful.
