Ya know. It's not the best source of gold, but it's all new gold: Run old raids and vendor all of the gear. In about an hour you can do Highmaul on LFR, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic and get about 6000g total. Some of the other raids aren't quite as fast, but generate similar amounts of gold. You can get some fun new (old?) transmog too if you haven't done much of it.
Mythic+ rewards will also go up by 30 item levels; however, during the first week of Season 2, rewards from end-of-run chests will be capped at Mythic 6 quality (item level 385), and the chest you open next week will contain Season 1 rewards if you do a Mythic+ run this week. (So, for example, if you do a Mythic 10 during the final week of Season 1, you’ll get a Season 1 item level 380 piece and 60 Residuum from your first Season 2 chest.)
The bones of Mythic+ are fairly simple, but it’s that simplicity that makes it Battle for Azeroth’s most rewarding mode. It’s fun, generally only takes about 40 minutes per dungeon and allows small groups of players to push themselves exactly as hard as they’d like. Battle for Azeroth’s dungeons are extremely well-designed and consistently entertaining, even after doing some of them 20-plus times, which makes the challenge of Mythic+ a great way to keep people playing.
All I know is that Scribes are going to make bank with those Contracts. All guides talks about them and everyone will want them. Better ride that money wave while we can. Other than that, Alchemy and Jewelcrafting are always safe bets. Engineers can get an item for followers to bring back more Azerite, ot sure how much of a headstart that's gonna give them. The rest of the professions honestly looks kinda lame since most of everything is BoP anyway.
About the Blacksmithing, Leatherworking and Engineering professions; I feel like crafted gears are fairly different in BFA and not nearly as strong as it was in Legion. That’s why these three professions are at the bottom. Only reasonable things that come out of these professions are mounts. Engineers have Mecha-Mogul Mk2 which is a pretty good-looking mount but every engineer will try to make and sell mount, so I feel like the market is gonna have a lot of competition for that.
Each of those modes existed long before this latest expansion; raiding is a basic concept in MMOs, and Mythic+ was added in World of Warcraft’s last expansion. The problems with Battle for Azeroth’s endgame come from the systems it adds, which most often artificially gate progress where most of the fun can be found. If raids and Mythic+ are the carrot, we’re about to talk about the stick.
I'd rather not have to manually re-do all the settings for all my addons in-game unless it's absolutely necessary (since I don't have memorized what the exact settings are I use, so I'd have to take screenshots of them all and then remake the settings to match the screenshots). So I'd rather get some more input about this problem before I try troubleshooting it that way.
So you're strapped for cash in World of Warcraft, and you need gold fast. Maybe there's an epic mount on the Auction House, or you're about to raid and need to finish enchanting your armor, or you're short on gold for glyphs. Whatever the reason, there's plenty of quick and mostly painless ways to farm up gold in WoW. Let's look at a few of the best ways.
That's mostly it, but it's linked to the fact you can transmute ghost iron bars into trillium bars, which can be transmuted into Living Steel. So ghost iron is really really useful for sky golems and panther mounts, because they require 4 Living Steel's, which means 24 trilliums or 240 Ghost Iron bars, if you wanna go that way instead of farming the trillium itself!
[Expulsom] is obtained primarily from scrapping armors and weapons using the Scrap-o-Matic 1000 (Alliance), or the Shred-Master Mk1 (Horde). These tools work like disenchanting, you can break down any gear obtained that is from the Battle for Azeroth expansion, including dungeon/raid drops, quest rewards, world drops and crafted gear. The Scrapper isn't restricted to specific trade skills. Anyone, even people without a crafting skill can use it. You will mostly get ores, gems, leathers, cloths, and occasionaly you will get one [Expulsom].
So when you log in to the game, as soon as you cast a spell, you will experience some kind of lag. The movement doesn’t register with the database and thus the lag is experienced. You can observe this when you get DCed from the server and return back to the original position, unless you have traveled enough distance to be registered in the database.
But every new character made that wants to craft old expansion stuff will have to level using expansion specific materials. Stocking up on profession materials that are already high in demand can be a great idea. This will primarily be materials used to craft the various mounts. Ghost Iron, Trillium, Living Steel, Pyrium etc. are all great candidates to stock up on.

At least they didn't require dungeons and raids to get through the basic skilling-up this time; I remember a lot of people were unhappy about that in Legion; I boosted some through for quests who weren't comfortable in a queue. It was always a traditional occupation for people who don't/can't group. Again, I appreciate the small mercy. They may need to strangle professions, but it was unnecessary to be just mean to people.
I guess I'd put the blame on the amount of posts I read every day and the attitude towards new goblins, which is "You should do this". What they need is a proper education in gold making, they need to understand the process, and not learn about new sources, cause then every time a source dries up, a farm is nerfed, they come back here to ask the same question. "This died. What now?" or "I'm at 500k, what now?" And that's why I'm annoyed. But then again, to each his own, I'm not the one in need of help...

Meanwhile, in Zandalar, the Horde seeks to earn the trust of King Rastakhan so they can use his legendary Golden Fleet against the Alliance. To this end, they assist Rastakhan and his court in dealing with local threats in Zuldazar, fight maniacal Blood Trolls in Nazmir, and face off with serpentine Old God cultists in Vol'dun. Throughout their journey, the Horde gradually learns about an eldricth being known as G'huun, an artificial Old God accidentally created by the Titans and the patron deity of the Blood Trolls. The Blood Trolls and the Faithless Sethekk seek to free G'huun from his prison of Uldir so they can use him to rule Azeroth, and to this end they resurrect G'huun's champion, the C'thrax Mythrax, to destroy Uldir's seal. Rastakhan's own chief adviser, the prophet Zul, is revealed to be the Blood Trolls' secret leader and launches an armed revolt against Rastakhan. With the Horde champions' help, Rastakhan is able to defeat Zul and his forces, but not before Mythrax destroys Uldir's seal.
Thanks for all the information! I’m between jobs atm so I only had enough money to get a month (haven’t played since legion launched) so I’ve been stressing about trying to somehow build my gold up to buy game time instead of enjoying it. I’ve had a lot of fun just trying to catch up on my Demon Hunter (maxed his level and am about to start the Mage Tower stuff and work towards reputation for allied races) and when it gets tedious, I’ll switch over to my engineer and craft stuff or level my new character I’m going to use for herbalism and alchemy. Hopefully when life is a bit steadier and my WoW standings improve, I can use all of this advice to make some $!
The Alliance are able to unlock the void elves (exiled blood elves who can tap into shadow magic, trained by Alleria Windrunner after her experiences on Argus), Lightforged draenei (draenei members of the Army of the Light who fought the Legion on Argus), Dark Iron dwarves (fire-blooded cousins of the in-game dwarves of Ironforge), and Kul Tiran humans (larger, more heavyset versions of the in-game humans of Stormwind).
Remember to NOT disenchant ALL of your quest rewards and drops. There is a new Blood of Sagaras in BfA called "Expulsion" and it is used in all primary tradeskills and it comes from using the Scrap-o-Matic 1000 to break down the piece (explation below). In alchemy you can learn to transmute it (Transmute: Expulsom, which generates 5 Expulsom per day from 10 Akunda's Bite, 10 Winter's Kiss, and 3 Anchor Weed). So some pieces may get more explusion from them that they give dust/shards.
