Oh, yeah, and you will never raid or find a party to kill a boss if you don't have an achievement of this kill. Then how to get it, if everybody declines you? Good question, right?… Expand
This leaves players chasing an endless loop of trying to get higher level Azerite gear — which can only reliably be gained through raids and isn’t available in Mythic+ — but only the pieces with exactly the right traits will actually be an upgrade. It’s even possible that some items that should be huge upgrades are nullified by the loss of a specific trait that makes one ability do more damage than the others.
BfA is bringing the standard new profession items that you'd expect like flasks and potions, armor and weapons, gems and enchants. This BfA professions alpha preview is instead highlighting all of the cool extra items that you can craft with professions in Battle for Azeroth. BfA Tailoring is getting Battle Flags, which seems to be a sort of buff banner. We look at BfA engineering items. There's one new profession crafted mount on the BfA alpha so far- but split between Battle for Azeroth engineering and a BfA blacksmithing recipe!

Hey OC! Many productive people have made some really great spreadsheets/guides for players to progress and start BFA. I decided to compile the most well worked (public) guides I could find and shamelessly post them here. Some might have been posted on the forums before. I'll try update the post whenever something new is posted before release. All credits goes to the people who's dedicated hours upon hours on creating these guides.
The game is based on the Warcraft series of RTS games first released in the mid 1990s. WoW expanded on the early Warcraft single player franchise and is now a vibrant multiplayer world, where players may engage in roleplaying, PvE, PvP, dungeon instances, battlegrounds, arenas, and raids. There are lots of challenges in WOW, and WOW gold plays an important role to help players to succeed in these challenges.
Welp, not clear on what to do or what to invest in, but (to me) the Key point professions will be alchemy, inscription and blacksmithing, Alchemy raiders will need flasks and pots, so steady income. Inscription for cosmetic glyphs and trinkets the first two tiers of expansion. Then there is blacksmithing that can make ilvl 300 weapons (and armor) that are lvl 110, pretty much like WoD weapons, so they may sell very well through all expansion.
Thing is, as in real life, opportunity cost is the real key on this. I'm getting 2 tokens per month quite easily with just 3 toons (1 maxed only (yeah, pretty damn inefficient but I lack a lot of time to play :p)) just by flipping couple of things, food, flask, potions, bags, shirts (yeah, shirts!!), etc etc. Every damn penny/gold counts :p, just have to learn how your realm market works, what niches exist, which items are needed and undersupplied and which are oversupplied.

A "stat squish" and "item squish" was implemented to lower the numbers used in the game, e.g. a legendary item previously with a level of 1000 reduced to 265. Unique class-specific buffs are added back, i.e. mages' Arcane Brilliance and priests' Mark of Fortitude. Titanforging—a random event that raises the initial item level of an item gained via drops or rewards—is still in the game; however, if the item is one of those affected by the Heart of Azeroth, then that item cannot be titanforged.
When you launch the game you can choose from two opposite factions (Alliance and Horde), 7 different races for each factions and 6 different classes with very wide mixture of the character's appearance. World of Warcraft play involves the completion of quests while traveling through the story line, gaining experience from the quests to level up the characters and picking up the useful loot to trade with other players. Once a player feel strong enough, or simply just wishes to find some better items, players can visit dungeons where a group can fight together to get better loot from stronger monsters. Near end-game the biggest dungeons require a raid with up to forty players to face and accomplish the hardest challenges for the most valuable items. Another big part of the game is the Player vs Player (PvP) fights where gamers can play againts each other in 2vs2, 3vs3 arenas or battlegrounds for PvP rewards.

Enchanting, Jewelcrafing and Alchemy are also good quality choices no matter what the expansion is because potions, elixirs, flasks they are always needed which made by Alchemists. Then we have enchanting pretty much the exact same thing with alchemy. There is no expansion where people would not need enchants. Then we have jewelcrafting once again same thing, stat gems which always go for a fair price in Auction House.  Also this profession synergizes with mining and making good profit by only purchase and prospecting ores.
Professions are skills used to create and enhance items (gears). You will start with one skill once your character has learned a profession. When you use the profession, your skill will increase. A profession’s higher skill will allow you to create more powerful items. If you change a primary profession, you will lose any skill you have made with your original profession. So it is important to choose your primary professions wisely.

Hazzikostas said his top recommendation prior to the BfA prepatch would be beating the Mage Tower challenges for those special artifact appearances. Not only are those some of the most attractive weapon skins in game, but the Mage Tower challenges will be going away when the prepatch hits, so you've only got a couple of weeks left to complete them.

Sky golem is all profit if you do the smart thing and run old panda farms on multiple toons. Was running 10 farms at one point till bfa launched and was upto my eyeballs in trillium and Ghost iron. Just not been doing it lately, but those 10 farms was an hour a day if that and sustained 4 crafters and alchemists though could have sustained 8 easily.
The expansion is set immediately after the events of Legion.[4] Two continents have been added within the Great Sea between the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor: Kul Tiras, one of the major human kingdoms, and Zandalar, the homeland of Azeroth's trolls.[4] While the Alliance and Horde will initially travel to one continent respectively, both continents will be available to both factions at level 120.[4]
[Expulsom] is obtained primarily from scrapping armors and weapons using the Scrap-o-Matic 1000 (Alliance), or the Shred-Master Mk1 (Horde). These tools work like disenchanting, you can break down any gear obtained that is from the Battle for Azeroth expansion, including dungeon/raid drops, quest rewards, world drops and crafted gear. The Scrapper isn't restricted to specific trade skills. Anyone, even people without a crafting skill can use it. You will mostly get ores, gems, leathers, cloths, and occasionaly you will get one [Expulsom].

Valid pieces for Azerite empowerment are available for the chest, shoulder, and head slots of all classes. This equipment has multiple tiers of that can be unlocked, represented by a series of concentric wheels with icons representing individual powers; as individual powers are selected, they rotate into slots at the top of the interface, activating the selected benefit and locking out the others unless the player pays to reset their decision. Outer rings offer multiple choices, some based around the character's class and specification, others around the zone or circumstances in which the gear was acquired. The innermost circle offers no such options, instead being a boost to the level of the item itself, and thus providing a flat all-around benefit.

With the announcement of the Collector's Edition and release date for Battle for Azeroth on April 5, 2018,[3][5] Legion was the first expansion to be offered for free with a preorder.[6] Battle for Azeroth is the first expansion to launch in the Americas, Europe, Taiwan, Korea, and Australia/New Zealand at the same time.[1] Battle for Azeroth became the fastest-selling World of Warcraft expansion ever.[7]

Explore the stony peaks of Tiragarde Sound, trek across Drustvar's high plains and red forests, and navigate the intricate inland canals of Stormsong Valley as you convince this fractured kingdom to join your cause.
Remember to NOT disenchant ALL of your quest rewards and drops. There is a new Blood of Sagaras in BfA called "Expulsion" and it is used in all primary tradeskills and it comes from using the Scrap-o-Matic 1000 (or Shred-Master Mk1) to break down the piece (explation below). In alchemy you can learn to transmute it (Transmute: Expulsom, which generates 5 Expulsom per day from 10 Akunda's Bite, 10 Winter's Kiss, and 3 Anchor Weed). So some pieces may get more explusion from them that they give dust/shards.
Inscription and darkmoon decks remain highly profitable still as long as you approach it with the right mindset and understand that it is a commodity market and the goal is not necessary to sell crafted decks. For me, it's an exercise in managing purchasing Linen & Herbs below market, balancing opportunity cost of converting linen to expulsom, and mass purchasing underpriced individual cards and relisting them at a profit but under the crafting cost so that they move. That's the primary goal, and you naturally complete decks that you sell but you don't go out of your way for.

Today's events set the stage for major changes in the game, including the expansion pre-patch, which will include all the game systems, cosmetic and other changes for the new expansion - basically, everything but the content in the expansion's new zones. There has been no official announcement of the prepatch launch date, but if I were a betting woman, I'd say July 10 looks awfully likely. [Edit: All right, or the 17th. But plan for the worst, people.]


At the end of Legion, the titan Sargeras was imprisoned, but not before he plunged his sword into the planet Azeroth. This not only devastated a massive area (much of the desert zone of Silithus is now cracked and scorched), but badly wounded the gestating titan inside. While the heroes managed to ablate the worst of the damage (at the cost of the majority of their artifact weapons' mythic power), the world is still wounded and bleeding a substance called "Azerite," which has great magical potential. The Horde Warchief, Sylvanas Windrunner, attempts to consolidate Horde power on Kalimdor and gain a monopoly on Azerite (which is primarily found at the southern end of the continent). Her campaign to do so, the War of Thorns, formed a pre-launch event for the expansion and ends with the major Night Elf holdings on the continent seized or (in the case of their capital city of Darnassus) annihilated. The Alliance makes a retaliatory strike against her home base, the Undercity, which was formerly the human capital of Lordaeron. This succeeds in driving the Horde out, but before leaving Sylvanas saturates the area with disease and toxins that render it uninhabitable. With this tit-for-tat military exchange, the Horde has almost complete control over Kalimdor, while the Alliance has near-total dominion over the Eastern Kingdoms.[4] With further conflict inevitable, Battle for Azeroth takes the two factions to the continents of Kul Tiras and Zandalar to recruit new allies in order to turn the tides of war.[4]

Use enchanting to craft tomes of illusions. Every expansion has its own mats, and they're all the easiest thing in the world to farm. You run a dungeon with an enchantor, disenchant everything, gather some elementals or gems for pandaria, and craft a tome which can sell for a good amount if you babysit it well. Sold a draenor one for 22k the other day, and Pandaria ones for 7k and 9k. >THIS IS AN EXAMPLE. If the prices aren't interesting on your server, find something else. It's that simple.<

Even then, margins are much better if you start with ghost iron ore, smelt it and transmute it with a transmute master. Every trillium proc is an extra 500g free, every LS proc is an extra 3000g. If you're just buying 30 living steel there is no profit when you account for jards energy sources being about 700g a piece on some servers. 4200 Ghost iron ore is what you need. Arrange your toons with professions to max that out.

Gathering (Mining, Herbing, Skinning, Fishing) – WoD almost totally killed gathering with the garrison but it made a big comeback for Legion. I don’t think BfA will be any different. Crafters always need materials and they will pay big bucks for it. While the crafting professions might have bigger profit margins, gathering has always seemed to produce a nice steady income. Materials always sell and usually sell fast. One thing I am watching for BfA is old materials. With the change to how you level professions, gone are the days of power leveling a new toons profs using only WoD mats. On one hand you won’t need to in order to do the BfA stuff. On the other hand if enough folks still like finishing off the prior xpac stuff, old material prices could go up and low level gathering might be more profitable similar to how Ghost Iron is now.
The raid is made up of eight bosses that each have interesting and unique mechanics. Some bosses might put extra pressure on the DPS players to kill an add before it can heal the boss, while others might require players to move around the environment in a specific pattern or order, all the while still doing as much damage to the boss as possible or keeping the group alive through healing. While past raids often repeated mechanics or had one or two boring fights that didn’t ask much of the players, each encounter in Uldir feels unique and challenging. It’s been a long time since we had a raid where each fight was as much fun to do over and over again as the fights in Uldir.
Just kidding, but yeah people just need to actually look at market and if they have the slightest interest of making gold, there are tons of options. But people basicly want 100k gold per day, without having to research for that niche and neither do they want to take long. I honestly wouldn't even bother helping someone that doesn't put the slightest effort in.
Cooking might be a fair surprise to some people but the thing is cooking is not a primary profession and usually it’s overlooked. I believe that’s why it’s still a valid method for making gold. The cooking products sell for like 20-30 gold each and people just don’t care about them. If you craft like 2000 cooking products in a day and get minimum 10 gold from each, that means 20k gold every single day.

It's hard to step out of the shadow of Legion, which was utterly fantastic in almost every way, to enter an expansion where you get one item per boss in the last expansion because the rules have been changed to force more grinding, where you have to grind reputation in the old expansion that you probably skipped because rep grinds suck JUST to unlock allied races (who aren't fully unique races since they recycle old content such as animations), where questing has SOMEHOW become boring again and where your new abilities are given by items you'll swap out every level, meanwhile being only boring passive effects no one cares about.


The illusions, meh. Last time I checked both TSM and the LGM spreadsheet both showed only a couple hundred gold return/unit, if they showed a profit at all (most didn't). They're slow movers as it stands, and there is already substantial competition over that market on my server anyway. So it's not worth the trouble of babysitting/cancelling/relisting for such a nominal return.

The Alliance are able to unlock the void elves (exiled blood elves who can tap into shadow magic, trained by Alleria Windrunner after her experiences on Argus), Lightforged draenei (draenei members of the Army of the Light who fought the Legion on Argus), Dark Iron dwarves (fire-blooded cousins of the in-game dwarves of Ironforge), and Kul Tiran humans (larger, more heavyset versions of the in-game humans of Stormwind).[6]
