It is really, really a stark change of pace from WoD and Legion where just questing and killing things would result in at least a small but decent profit from a day's activities, typically of at least 1k and often 2k. But now to get that sort of return, I have to really focus on gold WQ's, not spend any money on anything that I don't absolutely have to, and do 45 minutes of Legion content.
Sky golem is all profit if you do the smart thing and run old panda farms on multiple toons. Was running 10 farms at one point till bfa launched and was upto my eyeballs in trillium and Ghost iron. Just not been doing it lately, but those 10 farms was an hour a day if that and sustained 4 crafters and alchemists though could have sustained 8 easily.
Mythic+ rewards will also go up by 30 item levels; however, during the first week of Season 2, rewards from end-of-run chests will be capped at Mythic 6 quality (item level 385), and the chest you open next week will contain Season 1 rewards if you do a Mythic+ run this week. (So, for example, if you do a Mythic 10 during the final week of Season 1, you’ll get a Season 1 item level 380 piece and 60 Residuum from your first Season 2 chest.)
So you're strapped for cash in World of Warcraft, and you need gold fast. Maybe there's an epic mount on the Auction House, or you're about to raid and need to finish enchanting your armor, or you're short on gold for glyphs. Whatever the reason, there's plenty of quick and mostly painless ways to farm up gold in WoW. Let's look at a few of the best ways.

Conclusion - Overall, I am looking forward to BfA but I do have my concerns. The mid and high level rare mats look like they are going to come from Mythic Dungeons and Raids. This could make it so that crafting alts basically need to be end game geared up characters and doing that content in order to produce anything usable. Gathering will work and I think it makes sense to prioritize that at the beginning of the xpac. The rest I am taking a wait and see approach this time around. There still is plenty of time between now and launch for the devs to make drastic changes to the material requirements and item level of any crafted item or consumable. Therefore, I don’t think we can call anything a real “winner” or “loser” yet. What do you think?
Remember to NOT disenchant ALL of your quest rewards and drops. There is a new Blood of Sagaras in BfA called "Expulsion" and it is used in all primary tradeskills and it comes from using the Scrap-o-Matic 1000 (or Shred-Master Mk1) to break down the piece (explation below). In alchemy you can learn to transmute it (Transmute: Expulsom, which generates 5 Expulsom per day from 10 Akunda's Bite, 10 Winter's Kiss, and 3 Anchor Weed). So some pieces may get more explusion from them that they give dust/shards.

But every new character made that wants to craft old expansion stuff will have to level using expansion specific materials. Stocking up on profession materials that are already high in demand can be a great idea. This will primarily be materials used to craft the various mounts. Ghost Iron, Trillium, Living Steel, Pyrium etc. are all great candidates to stock up on.

I know if you aren't using hunters than you'll really want the loot-a-rang for easy looting, so that would take up one of your professions. In all honesty If i was going to do it id level up a hunter team and only hyperfarm with them, while doing other things with the mains. As far as regular professions go, they don't really seem worth it anymore like they did back in the old days, so I'd personally stick with gathering stuff as you are hitting nodes x5

TSM shopping list was super awesome, but it feels like a lot of clunk for what I wanted to do. I keep hearing ppl talk about server daily avg prices, region prices, etc. But I couldn't find any of that in TSM, even with importing groups/operations from someone. And wtf is an operation? I assume it's just a script that TSM runs to do price compares, etc? I'm convinced all the ones I tried didnt work.

All are used for some crafts still, and depending on your server you can profit solely by buying mats on the AH, doing your transmute CD, and reposting. Heck many don't even need transmute master to be viable. This can be especially good for those of us who have been playing continuously for years and as a result have alts, many of which that aren't even max level, that we used back then that can still be used.
Rank 3 is terrible design, if they we're most open about how they drop etc. I, as a avid LW collector (Yes I have all recipes in-game but IIRC 1 from vanilla, few from TBC that was removed due to stupid design), and I still dont have all rank3 from LW despite plenty of runs through the 5 mans for em...Ill just wait for next exp or w/e and stealth runs. 

They'll still be able to craft their items. Xmog crafters won't feel as hit because most of those patterns aren't terribly easy to come by. Mount sellers won't be affected. Recipes wont really be affected. Trade Goods will change a bit though, but that isn't inherently a bad thing. I can never find Firebloom on my server for sale, Mageweave and Silk are always pricey, etc. It might increase the amounts of those types of items and drive the price down, but that might be replaced by something else just as easily.
Allied races: Our new allies will join the factions and players will be able to unlock the ability to play their race. There are 6 planned for launch. Horde: Nightborne, Highmountain tauren, Zandalari troll. Alliance: Void elf, Lightforged draenei, Dark Iron dwarf. Additional races are planned for the future. Receive a Heritage Armor set, if you level an allied race character to level 110.[5][6]
The bones of Mythic+ are fairly simple, but it’s that simplicity that makes it Battle for Azeroth’s most rewarding mode. It’s fun, generally only takes about 40 minutes per dungeon and allows small groups of players to push themselves exactly as hard as they’d like. Battle for Azeroth’s dungeons are extremely well-designed and consistently entertaining, even after doing some of them 20-plus times, which makes the challenge of Mythic+ a great way to keep people playing.

But he said that it takes intricate planning and logistics to really ramp up the Gold income from Darkmoon cards due to the constraints surrounding its crafting cooldown.
