The bones of Mythic+ are fairly simple, but it’s that simplicity that makes it Battle for Azeroth’s most rewarding mode. It's hard to step out of the shadow of Legion, which was utterly fantastic in almost every way, to enter an expansion where you get one item per boss in the last expansion because the rules have been changed to force more grinding, where you have to grind reputation in the old expansion that you probably skipped because rep grinds suck JUST to unlock allied races (who aren't fully unique races since they recycle old content such as animations), where questing has SOMEHOW become boring again and where your new abilities are given by items you'll swap out every level, meanwhile being only boring passive effects no one cares about.

Mythic+ has some similarity to raiding, but it’s designed for just five players, instead of the 10-to-30 that can make up a raid. If you're a new player and buying gold (for some startup money) isn't an option, there's nothing wrong with gathering (especially if you're getting BfA...it'll be good gold initially if you farm BfA mats and sell high). You can make pretty good money just flipping stuff...and because Legion items are super risky now, it's a good time to get spirits of harmony (just buy what you can and sell it in in bigger stacks at higher costs or turn it into ore/bars or lotus to sell when that is profitable). I'd avoid putting all of your gold there though. Sometimes a bot or just someone returning to the game will dump 10+ stacks of 200 spirits cheap and tanks the markets for a bit. Flipping (if you get good at it) will make you more gold in than long run than farming but if you don't have much gold either is a step forward from here. They key to making gold is having the flexibility to lock up most of your gold in items and wait patiently to sell them at a good price but you gotta start small (or cheat like me...when I came back in December I just spent $100 on tokens and haven't spent money on anything other than the Collector's edition since. It's a lot easier to make gold if you already have some.

Inscription – This one deserves its own category. I recently got back into this profession and I think it can make some serious gold at all levels due to how glyphs work now. On the flip side, glyphs are cosmetic one time uses only and the market can be really slow for the less interesting ones. When an allied race has been unlocked for a player, new characters from that race will start at level 20. If a player levels an Allied race from 20 to level 110 without using character boosts, they will be rewarded with a unique "Heritage Armor" for transmogrification that reflects the unique lore behind the race but is limited for use to that race. Doing the quests to unlock the allied races will also unlock the races' unique mounts for use by the characters of their faction.[5] The void elves, Lightforged draenei, Highmountain tauren, and Nightborne, as races tied to the storyline for Legion, were made available with the preorder on January 30, 2018.[7] The Dark Iron dwarves and the Mag'har orcs are made available upon completing the "War Campaign" in Kul Tiras and Zandalar and reaching Exalted with one faction's War Campaign reputation; the Kul Tiran humans and Zandalari will be made available later in the expansion. Warlocks have received new spell effects; all the other classes received new effects in Legion. Male orcs are now able to toggle between the initial hunched posture and standing upright by using a barbershop, but the other races are not able to toggle between two postures.[5] There are new druid forms for the allied races, i.e. a Zandalari troll forms are all dinosaur-based, while the Kul Tiran humans take forms made of wood and bone as their teachings come from the Drust people who populated the land before them rather than the Cenarion Circle.

The thing I liked best about the wide shuffle of those days was that it made ALL of my alts feel valuable. I'd get some ore some was sent to the miner to be smelted and then on to the blacksmith for belt buckles. The rest went to the jewelcrafter to prospect. Some of those got cut, the rest got turned into jewelry that was either sold or disenchanted. The enchanter then converted those mats into scrolls. Meanwhile the army of alchemists transmuted that expansion's elemental material (volatiles, sorcerous, etc). It felt like a whole business operation.

It's not about me, it's about people having trouble making gold with BfA professions for example, or having herb prices drop too low to make it worth the effort, I just meant to say there are other ways of making gold. I personnally make most my gold out of BfA for example, so I wanted to point out it's not a necessary thing to stick to the current extension.
